Plastic Compounds

Plastic compounds and high-performance resins play a critical role in modern automotive design. They are used across interior, exterior, and under-the-hood applications where durability, heat resistance, chemical stability, and lightweight performance are essential.

Elastomers add flexibility and sealing performance for gaskets, weatherstripping, and vibration dampening, while engineering plastics enable complex shapes and improved safety features. Together, these materials help manufacturers reduce vehicle weight, improve fuel efficiency, enhance safety, and deliver long-lasting performance.

PA6 is strong, wear-resistant engineering plastic used  for engine covers, air intake manifolds, fasteners, and under-the-hood components. PA66 is also greater heat resistance, stiffness, and dimensional stability than Nylon 6, making it better suited for more demanding thermal and mechanical environments.
